  • School uniform grant scheme – an idea from Pilgrim URC

    Pilgrim United Reformed Church have been operating a scheme to help provide items of school uniform to families who struggle financially to kit out their children with uniforms particularly when they moved from primary to secondary education.  Working in partnership with the School Parent Advisor, the scheme arranges for the uniform items to be purchased which are then paid for by the church.   After successfully operating the scheme over the last two years Pilgrim church wondered if other churches in Plymouth would be interested in setting up similar schemes.
