Dear Friends,

Cross Rhythms Plymouth radio station reaches the city 24/7 with the good news of Jesus.

2019 was an important year for the station as it was granted an FM signal power increase from Ofcom, meaning it now reaches further than ever before. Old equipment also had to be replaced last year and there were significant improvements made in this regard.

2019 was big and 2020 promises to be even bigger as the station launches a brand new website allowing listeners to engage with the station online, listen again to programming and read life giving blogs and content.

This year also sees a brand new breakfast show launch, with multiple Christian contributors from across the city bringing words of life to listeners as they start their day.

The impact of the station is being confirmed through the testimonies that we are hearing from listeners. Here are three recent stories;

–       A non-Christian charity worker who was interviewed on the station told us he is a regular listener and has purchased several Christian albums as a result of hearing them on the radio.

–       We interviewed an older man on the station who shared his testimony through the programme. His gardener then came up to him a couple of weeks later saying he had heard his story on air as he happened to tune in at exactly the right moment. This lead to a conversation about Jesus between the two of them.

–       A listener came along to a Father’s House ministry event purely because he heard the interview with the event speaker on air.

The station is charity run and in order to continue to bring the good news to Plymouth it relies on the generous donations from supporters who share the vision to see lives changed by the love of God.

A major fundraising initiative for the station is the annual gala dinner and I am delighted to extend an invitation to you and anyone in your church for this event.

Time: 7pm

Venue: Duke of Cornwall Hotel

Entrance: £40pp which includes a 2 course meal and a donation to the radio station.

As in previous years we will have a presentation on the work of the radio station and an auction.
