RAHAB breakfast talk
RAHAB breakfast talk….. will take place on Sat 22 Feb, 9.00 am, at Hope Baptist Church, Peverell Park Road. Breakfast will be served at 9.00am and the talk by Karine Law will follow at 9.30am. Karine will talk for approximately 40 minutes and there will be opportunity to ask questions. She will also have items of jewellery for sale that have been made by the ladies they are supporting. Any donations given on the day will go directly to support the work of RAHAB.
RAHAB has been running overall since 1991, and is an outreach ministry to prostitutes working in the Millbay area of Plymouth. Karine Law, manager of RAHAB sums up the need:
“The girls we see are broken. Some show it and share their brokenness, some don’t. They hide it behind the masks they wear in order to survive and keep going. Often but not always, their stories tell of hearts which have been smashed by life’s harsh and cruel deals, of childhoods lived through fear and rejection.”
No need to book a place but it would be helpful if people could let us know if they are definitely coming in order to cater efficiently. Email firstname.lastname@example.org
