Saying Goodbye service
There is a special event taking place on Wednesday 14th November at 7.00pm at St Andrew’s Minster in Plymouth. The Saying Goodbye service is a service of remembrance for anyone affected by the loss of a baby, whether during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy. The service is one of around 20 being held around the UK by the Mariposa Trust during 2018, and is for anyone from across Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall or beyond, whether they have lost recently or decades ago.
You will be aware of many people within your congregation, as well as the communities in which you are based, who have suffered losses, and I would ask that you take a few minutes to contact them, and let them know the service is taking place. This will be the 3rd time the service has been held at Plymouth, and each year, the service brings so much healing to the people who attend, so please call, email, tweet, Facebook post and help us reach as many people as possible. If you have contacts in other churches, please let them know that the service is taking place.
