Free training around health, food hygiene, etc

Free training for Churches and Community organisatrions around health protection update, food hygiene basic information and information about the eatwell programme

Dear all,

Please can I ask you to highlight this to any volunteers in your churches that might be involved in food provision, health & safety etc.

This is a great opportunity for Churches to obtain free training.

As part of year 5 of Thrive Plymouth the Public Protection Service have put on two free events for food hygiene training on 6th and 12th November at the Plymouth Guildhall for volunteers and community organisations. They are not yet fully booked.

Within the training course delegates receive health protection update, food hygiene basic information and information about the eatwell programme. At the end volunteers will get a certificate of attendance.

Please can you circulate to champions etc. as this is a great opportunity (usually there would be a £20 – 40 charge for this type of training course).

For more information see Public Protection Service website and their Facebook @plymouthehts
